The global dairy industry is constantly changing with emerging trends, technological innovations and regulations. As a direct response to this, Randox Food Diagnostics created the InfiniPlex for Milk Array using Biochip Array Technology. Designed to meet the needs of dairy processors throughout the world InfiniPlex offers users the ability to be 98% compliant with EU regulated (EU Annex 37/2010) antibiotics from a single test.

In addition to compliance with EU regulations, InfiniPlex offers further benefits:

  • Zero sample preparation: A 25µl sample of raw milk is directly applied to the Biochip and a qualitative result for 130 analytes is delivered.
  • Drug discrimination capabilities: Veterinary drugs are often used in specific pharmaceutical combinations, InfiniPlex can distinguish the exact group of drugs used to give users an insight into the treatment administered at animal level.
  • Detects unauthorised substances: In addition to detecting antibiotics, InfiniPlex can detect unauthorised substances including florfenicol, chloramphenicol, dapsone, ractopamine, melamine, quinolones, sulphonamides, tetracyclines and doxycycline.

Created to suit various throughput requirements InfiniPlex is available on the Evidence Investigator and Evidence MultiSTAT. The Evidence Investigator is a semi-automated system ideally suited to high sample screening requirements providing fast analysis of up to 96 samples in 2 hours 30 mins. The Evidence MultiSTAT differs in that it’s a fully automated touch screen system that can analyse 1 sample in 17 minutes with zero technical expertise required from the user, making the system perfectly suited for onsite testing at a dairy processing plant.

Attending IDF ISO Analytical Week? Stop by the Randox Food Diagnostics booth where our team will be showcasing the Evidence MultiSTAT each day and doing a presentation on Tuesday 24th April during the exhibitors evening!
